We Mean Green Fund

You can make a green difference on campus through the We Mean Green Fund (WMGF). The WMGF is an initiative driven primarily by UNT’s student-body to fund projects aimed at reducing the campus’ carbon footprint and increasing its sustainability. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit their ideas throughout the year for increasing environmental sustainability on campus.

Projects funded through the WMGF not only promote a more sustainable future for UNT, but also provide educational opportunities for our students and visitors. Current projects funded through the WMGF include TAMS bike share, the UNT Tree Replacement Project, Big Belly Solar Compactors, and the Five for Five Project.
