Annual Voertman art competition features CVAD students’ art work in exhibition

Students in the College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas will show off their work at the 56th annual Voertman’s Art competition, April 14 – July 23.

UNT College of Education dean announces retirement

Jerry Thomas, the dean of the College of Education at the University of North Texas, will retire in July. Thomas has served as dean since 2008. He came to UNT from Iowa State University, where he was a professor and chair of the Department of Kinesiology.

UNT recognized for excellence in transfer student programs and opportunities

The University of North Texas was the only public school in Texas to be listed as a member of the inaugural Excellence in Community College Transfer Honor Roll by Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society for two-year colleges. The award identifies the top four-year colleges and universities that have created “dynamic pathways to support community college transfer.”
