Baroque ensemble from UNT tours three European countries

2014_baroque-orchestra Students, faculty and alumni from the UNT College of Music are headed to Europe for an 11-concert, three-country tour in Germany, Austria and Croatia from July 1 (Tuesday) to July 21 (Monday).

Drone research at UNT improves communication after disasters, earned faculty invite to White House and U.S. summit

2014_smart-america-drone-disaster-communication Shengli Fu, electrical engineering associate professor and interim department chair, and Yan Wan, electrical engineering assistant professor, were part of a 15-person team that developed a Smart Emergency Response System that could someday be used to save lives in areas too dangerous or inaccessible to humans.

UNT students earn prizes at Northwestern Mutual case competition

2014_northwester-first-place Three teams of UNT students earned cash prizes totaling $7,400 in the Spring 2014 Northwestern Mutual Integrated Business Case Competition. The competition has been held twice every year at UNT since 1995 as part of the capstone course for graduating seniors in the UNT College of Business.
