Twenty UNT students to study sustainability in university’s study abroad class to Cuba

The UNT faculty — James Kennedy, Regents Professor of biological sciences; Bruce Hunter, director of UNT’s Center for Spatial Analysis and Mapping in the Department of Geography; Melinda Levin, professor of radio, television and film; and David Taylor, senior lecturer in the Department of English — will accompany 20 students to Cuba, after recruiting them from their academic areas.

Literary agents available to meet with attendees of Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference

Attendees of this year’s Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference, hosted annually by the Frank W. Mayborn Graduate Institute of Journalism in the UNT Texas’ Frank W. and Sue Mayborn School of Journalism, will learn about the larger literary world from a book editor and several literary agents in “Unveiling the Mystery: Writing, Editing and Publishing for the Literary Market,” a panel discussion.
