U.S. News and World Report ranks UNT’s online graduate business
program among nation’s best

The University of North Texas College of Business is ranked 17th in the nation in U.S. News and World Report’s newly released list of 2014 Best Online Graduate Business Programs — rising from No. 20 in 2013. UNT offers an online Master of Business Administration degree program with concentrations in marketing, strategic management and finance.

Games will teach research ethics to University of North Texas graduate students

A group of UNT researchers has received a $300,000, three-year National Science Foundation grant to develop three interactive games focusing on research ethics that graduate students will use to add to the ethics training already offered by UNT’s Toulouse Graduate School.

UNT Quail receives funding for conservation research

The UNT Quail program and laboratory, which is working to preserve North Texas quail populations, has received more than $100,000 from Texas conservation organizations for research. The funding has come from various Quail Coalition chapters across the state.

New UNT Inspiration Awards encourage student creativity

UNT will honor student creativity with the first-ever Sherman/Barsanti Inspiration Awards, made possible by a $350,000 gift from longtime UNT supporters Bob and Bette Sherman. UNT faculty and staff members can nominate students for the awards online through Feb. 1, 2014.
