Eleven students receive awards for 2013 Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference

Eleven UNT students will attend this year’s Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference after receiving awards that cover registration and meals and lodging during the conference. The Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference is held every summer by UNT’s Frank W. Mayborn Graduate Institute of Journalism.

UNT newest partner of U.S. Department of Energy’s BioEnergy Science Center

UNT has become a partner of the U.S. Department of Energy’s BioEnergy Science Center. UNT Distinguished Research Professor of Biology Dr. Richard Dixon will work with the center on a research project investigating how to develop liquid biofuels from genetically engineered switchgrass.
