UNT’s sustainability efforts earn national recognitionUNT has become a leader in sustainability through collaborations, education, research and its daily operations, and has reduced its carbon footprint by more than a half billion pounds, since becoming the first Texas university to sign the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment five years ago.

UNT’s Portal to Texas History named Project of the Year by TLA

The Portal to Texas History, administered by the UNT Libraries, has received the Wayne Williams Library Project of the Year Award from the Texas Library Association.

Two students win public administration scholarships

UNT students Cassie Holtz and Francisco Gonzalez both received a Clarence Ridley Scholarship from the Texas City Management Association. The scholarships are awarded each year to two students who are earning master of public administration degrees from Texas universities
