UNT Grandparents University
June 21-22
UNT Campus

Grandparents University gives multi-generational families the opportunity to experience college life together during the summer.  It is also an optimal time to help alumni and other adults supportive of the UNT mission to become re-acquainted with the campus and to introduce their grandchildren to the many learning opportunities available at UNT. Grandparents (or other special adults) and grandchildren (ages 7-12) can earn a Grandparents University® degree by “majoring” in two topics. Participants have the opportunity to spend the night in a UNT dorm and to experience college life.

Visit to register and learn more about what classes are being offered this year.

Now through July 21
Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. with extended hours until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
UNT on the Square

UNT on the square will open its doors to the community for a summer long watercolor exhibition called “H20HUE/UNT.” The exhibition will be on display through July 21 (Saturday), and will showcase the work of 21 undergraduate and graduate painters from the watercolor concentration. The event will feature 3-D animals, including a skunk, raccoon, and badger, as well as a paint-in-motion film and hyper-realism pieces that described are “more real than real”. This exhibition is dedicated to UNT graduate student and watercolor painter, Lisa Tseng, who died earlier this year.
