UNT receives software donation equivalent to $1.22 million for visual merchandising

Beginning this fall, the UNT merchandising degree program will create layouts and plans for store concepts using the same software used by international retailers, thanks to a gift from vrSoftware Ltd.

Team of UNT researchers awarded $600,000 NSF grant to develop sustainable building materials

Four UNT researchers received grants from the National Science Foundation to develop sustainable, energy-efficient and multifunctional bioproducts for construction such as natural alternatives to fiberglass and other commonly used non-biodegradable building materials.

UNT to build Zero Energy Research Laboratory

Construction has been slated to begin on a facility to test emerging technologies that allow building systems to have a net-zero consumption of energy. The lab will be the first of its kind in the United States.
