TAMS students win $19,000 in scholarships from the Young Epidemiology Scholars Competition

Four students from the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science at UNT won awards in the 2011 Young Epidemiology Scholars Competition. The competition honors outstanding research projects conducted by high school juniors and seniors that focus on behavioral, biological, environmental and social factors that affect health and identify ways to improve the health of the public.

UNT art professor receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Dr. D. Jack Davis, a longtime professor of art and founding dean of the University of North Texas College of Visual Arts and Design, received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Center for the Advancement and Study of Early Texas Art (CASETA).
